Hi I am new to this forum and club. So you wonder why a Limey wants to join a Toyota Truck USA club. Simple I have just bought and intend to restore a 1977/78 Chinook Omega, which is based on a 2wd Hilux Truck.
Now you may not be aware, but some essential parts of Hiluxs built in the USA are unique and so I may have questions about the 20R gasoline engine - in the UK and Europe the 2.2 liter engine was not fittedin either the Hilux or any car.
The other thing I will be asking about is the internal layout of a Chinook Omega as all the internals have been flattened. Why - I do not know.
