Gas gauge wandering, 2000 Tundra

I have a 2000 Tundra with 55k. the gauge reads fine when I first start out after driving a while the needle drops slowly to empty then returns back to where it should has anyone had this issue?

You could have a bad sending unit but check the ground first, take the ground lead off and clean the frame and connector. Put a little grease on it when you put the ground back to the frame.
