I moved in February right next to "Arroyo Trabuco" ( in Southern Calif) which is an impressive hiking spot. It always has water flowing, and lots of wildlife including snakes, lizards, a variety of birds, coyotes, deer, cottontail rabbits, etc. The walls of the stream bed are about 100-150 ft deep, and about 1/4 mile wide. I go hiking there almost every day.
