I am looking at Fabtech Lifts and I have a few questions if you installed the lift yourself:
Was the kit pretty cut and dry?
Is the customer service at Fabtech reliable?
Any cutting or drilling?
Which kit did you install?
I plan on putting 35s under it.
Thanks for any help!

yes the lift is cut and dry

haven't had to deal with customer service but heard really good things about them

yes there is cutting involved you have to cut out the front cross member and weld flat plates in its place and and bolt up the new cross member in the kit ( its for the front diff drop)

i got the basic kit but i am going to upgrade to the adjustable coilovers soon

my buddy has the same lift as i do and he has 35's under his

So the new cross member must be at a sharper angle then? I'm not sure why they make a kit that requires you to cut it, seems like this could be tailor-made to fit the model year of your truck. Is it a universal kit?
