Cylinder Heads

I’m new to this site. My question is would the heads on a 98 Toyota 4Runner fit on my 01 4Runner 4x4? I would appreciate any advice or answers. Thanks

Your post is to vague. What size engines are we talking about ? If they are the same size, then yes, but you want be able to mix match heads, or engine sizes, then no.

As long as the engines are the same size, then yes they will fit. You need to have them checked at an auto machine shop, and have them decked first though. You don't want to install a cracked or warped head.

Ok, so both engines are 3.4 Ltr, yes they are interchangeable.
As was pointed out though, get a reliable experienced shop to thoroughly check them out.
3.4 heads are all aluminium, nice and light, but as such have been known to have cracks develop around the valves and head bolts.
No use putting them on if they have cracks, this won't save anything.
