I am looking for any advice I can get to get the best performance year round out of my Sequoia Platinum. I live in the Northeast and last winter 2015/2016 was our second full winter with the car and we ended up having to buy new tires because the truck did not handle at all in the snow. The dealer recommended Dunlop SP Sport 5000M. We have had a very mild winter 2016/2017 but just got some snow and I am back in the same boat. I may as well have slicks on the car. I slid backing out of my flat driveway. I called the dealer and they are looking into options for me but I obviously don't want to buy a new set of performance tires every year. I am starting to lean towards one set for Spring, Summer and Fall and then a set of Winter tires but wanted to get others opinions before I pull the trigger. Any advice is appreciated.
