95 Tacoma idles but dies when given gas

Hey guys. My buddy has a tacoma he just bought. 95 with 180,000 miles with the 2.7.
It idles just fine but when you go to give it gas it dies. I know you guys know way more than someone who thinks they know so any help would be appreciated. This is my second post. Trying to be able to communicate more with others. Thx

What's the service history on it? Sounds like fuel system issue to me. Check the fuel filters and/or the fuel pump.
