- This generation (XU70) is based on the Toyota New Global Architecture platform TNGA-K.
- The 2020 Highlander will come in a total of 5 models. These are the L, LE, XLE, Limited and of course the Platinum model.
- This is a worldwide product.
- The 2020 Highlander comes standard with a gasoline engine with a hybrid system as an option.
- The gasoline model will be available in North America in December 2019.
- The hybrid model will be available in North America in February 2020.
