I have no clue what I'm doing, but I was wondering if anyone could help me! My 2013 RAV4 radio has been acting up for a while. The bluetooth won't connect to any device, and the USB will charge the phone but won't connect it for media. I know for sure that it's the car and not the devices, because we've tried it with both iPhones and androids, multiple different devices. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Could be a BCM issue too.
As far as the virus goes, I don't think so! The stereo connects to the phone, but when you try to do anything (such as go to messages or play music), it just says 'loading' & loads indefinitely. I'm not sure about it being a BCM issue though. I was just wondering if this was a common issue in this model!
I would do/check a couple things:
1) make sure your phones are current on any updates.
2) make sure the RAV4 is up to date on any firmware updates.
Finally I would disconnect/remove/unpair any Bluetooth device from radio unit Bluetooth list, restart both stereo and phone, then repair one at a time while checking to see if each works successfully.
This has worked for me in the past. Let us know how it works out.
