2008 Toyota Tundra Tires - How big can I go?

I'm looking at getting a 2008 Toyota Tundra 4x4 from a co-worker. It's got low miles and is in good shape, but it's going to need new tires. How big can I go without having them rub? At what point will I need to get a lift-kit and how much will that cost?

ideas? thanks in advance.

You should be able to fit 265/75/16's without rubbing on your stock rims (if you are going to keep the stock rims).

They will take away a little bit of the overall power, but they will handle great for sure.

Here are what the 265/75/16 Toyo tires look like. I found this at dnjwheels.com.

with a lift now that all depends on how much money you are willing to spend. now as for stock rims you should be able to go 1 size bigger with no problem
