I am having a rather weird issue that I haven't seen before on any of my cars.
It started when I replaced an aftermarket taillight assembly with an OEM one. and replaced 4 bulbs (1 front corner, 1 brake bulb passenger side, and a rear blinker bulb, small bulb above the cabin)
now the issue is that when I have my head lights on my entire taillight illuminates along with the left green arrow on my instrument panel (but only the left, the right works fine). when my headlights are off everything works fine. I have no power to the left license plate light bulb, and no power to the front right turn signal.
I have checked all the fuses, and they are fine. the taillight harness seems to be clean and no corrosion.
side note which I dont think would have anything to do with it, but maybe someone has more experience here. 11 years ago a viper alarm was installed and has been working fine since.
