I am a new member.
I would like to learn about avenues to properly restore the 1981 Toyota Pickup I just bought.
Specifically I need to know ...d o members on this website sell parts???

Specifically for my project I am looking for a
1. A new dash (preferable 1980 version but 81 will work) mine is cracked badly.
- with push button original stereo.
2. Toyota mudflaps
3. Several other items but these are the most salient.

If so - how do I outreach to others? Or shop for parts?

Unfortunately their arent many OEM parts available for your truck anymore.
Same goes for aftermarket.
Some items like the mud flaps you might be able to source new items and modify to look oem.
Dash pads though will be a real hard find.
Those pads were vacume formed, you might try finding a good upholstery shop that can make a cover that looks like the original pad, ive seen it done on other vehicles.
Toyota doesnt play nice with the aftermarket mfgrs when it comes to reproduction parts, they hold patents for almost everything they make and guard them well.
