Door Ajar Light Won't Go Off

The door ajar light won't go off. Both rear passenger doors have lights that go on and off when I press the contact switch. The rear hatch door light also goes on and off with an open close (though I am not sure where the switch is.) I pulled both front door switches and they are squeeky clean...

    Fog Light Replacement

Anyone have an idea why the Toyota Owners Manual says that only a dealer should replace the fog lights "or you may damage your vehicle" (other than money greed, of course)? A quick search of youtube demonstrates it's pretty straightforward, but of course I don't want to mess something up.

    O2 sensor DIY?

I'm getting an intermittent Check Engine light that diagnoses as engine running lean. I thought I would take a look at the DIY manual and it looks like the 2005 Sequoia 4WD has 4 sensors?(!) Any advice on approach to finding if one of those might be the issue?

    Curious about the Sequoia

In your knowledge is it just an annoyance or can it be destructive if not taken care of?

    Curious about the Sequoia

Never noticed it from R to D. Always from stopped. Seems like it happens when I stop harder, but that could be my imagination.

    Curious about the Sequoia

Ah yes. Me too. I've never heard that it is a issue that must be fixed, just an annoyance. I can imagine actually getting bumped from behind one day and just driving off not knowing.

    Curious about the Sequoia

Love my 2005 Limited. Bought at 125K now has 150K. Had typical problems of rear latch handle breaking (b/c it's plastic) rear door latch freezing ( a pain ) and rear window not rolling down due to faulty break (easy fix). One can say Toyota is so consistent in their manufacturing that if...

Toyota Sequoia Tire Pressure Sensor (TPMS)

Thanks for the parts website. I'll definitely bookmark that. Not sure what to do at this point as the tire shop had previously tried to fix a leak here but did not check the TPMS so they're going to put the TPMS in labor free. So my guess is order part + wait time + pay another tire...

Toyota Sequoia Tire Pressure Sensor (TPMS)

I have a sensor that leaks air, tire place says "about 100" for the TPMS. Seems high to me. Anyone with advice on this?

    School Me on 4hi/lo/locked/unlocked

Thanks much @Spec E30 Racer . Worries me a little that the lady who I bought it from said she used to lock the differential a lot in snow...but on the other hand I'm not sure she actually was getting it locked, she said she would push the 4hi/lo then immediate push the differential lock, it may...

    School Me on 4hi/lo/locked/unlocked

Long time Toyota owner, first time Sequoia owner as of this weekend. Don't have any experience driving AWD/4WD. Can you school me on what situations I might use 4hi/4lo with and without lock? For example, did a lot of driving around this weekend with slippery roads in 4hi/unlocked. When would...
