I have a 2002 Highlander (my son's) and the VSC light comes on. Any idea what could be causing that? is it tied into the traction control? Can one tell what the problem is, or does it need to be hooked up to a computer to tell what the problem is?
I have a 2004 Highlander, and when I decelerate (not touching the brakes) I get a squeaking noise, that sounds like squeaking brakes. My foot is nowhere near the brake pedal. Sound kinda bugs me, and I would like to know what it is. Truck run fine during this squeaky time.
To use power windows without using the key, and turning on the ignition. I was able to do this with our Odyssey, by just pulling out a relay, and wiring it directly. Pretty simple.
Are OEM struts better than after market struts? I installed after market smart struts (entire unit including springs) and the ride seems harsher, and there seems to be more clunking noises from them. I have had all the bushings checked, and the sway bar links. All is well. I am sure that the OEM...
Is there a simple way to wire power windows, so that you do not have to use the ignition switch. In other words, power window use all the time. I have a 2004 Highlander.

I have a 2004 Highlander, and was wondering if there is any way that I can have the heated seats work when I use the remote starter. I think that a person has to sit in the seat to activate the heated seat.
Has anyone ever managed to have the power windows operate without the ignition on. It would be nice to be able to use the power windows when the ignition is not on. My wife also has a Rav4 and we would like the same thing to be on it too.
Here in Regina, the price has gone down to .959 cents per litre. Not too sure what that is for a gallon. I guess here in Canada, it is a lot more precise than it is in the USA.
I am new to the club and will be checking out the posts. I live in Canada (Regina) so if anyone out there is also from Regina, let me know. I own a 1990 4Runner, and am interested in buying a used Highlander (cannot afford a 4Runner).
