Trace the cooling lines back and see where they connect. If the connections are on the newer engine - it may work.

What year model? I'm assuming the fluid level is full and somewhat clean? Any linkage binding or bent?

Not a trick but I would start with a simple dent puller. You may be able to pull out some of the dent.

So far 2024 has been going fine.

Welcome and congrats on you Tundra.

I looked at this "oil filter conversion" a few years ago for the wife's RAV4 and my Tundra. Decided not to convert over since I have no issues messing with a canister type of filter. The cost is kind of steep, but looks like a good quality product. Keep us posted on whether you go for it.
