Be leaving you fine people. As my circumstances changed I found that a truck was no longer the best fit for me. Saturday I traded it in on a 2015 Camry SE. That suits me better. Good luck to all of you!

They are pretty legendary for being long lasting. I have seen some with 350,000 on other forums. And a while ago there was a woman with 500,000 on hers.

Both have excellent resale value but the Tacoma is the best. Unless you really need the great payload or towing capacity, the Tacoma is better IMHO.

True but some of us don't need that much truck. And the Tacoma's smaller size really shines off road.

Checked Kelly Blue Book last night. My 2014 lost $2000 in the first year. Pretty good. Wifey bought a Chrysler 200 and it lost $12000. She's not happy.

According to Kelly Blue Book the FJ Cruiser is #1 after 5 years, the Tacoma is #2. The Ford F150 is further down the top 10 list.

The Harley along with quite a few others were "only rides" meaning hey were my daily drivers". 21 degrees at 5AM and a 40 miles ride get to be a bit much even in Florida. The HD was replaced by the Taco when a bear decided to run out in front of it at 4:30 on a foggy morning. I shed no tears...

Diesel itself is less expensive than gasoline. The reason it's so high are all the taxes governments put on mainly to tax the trucking Industry.

Yes our environmental laws are the most stringent on diesels. Especially the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia!

I think we are more likely to see a hybrid Taco before a diesel.

You will find them expensive. Mine only lost 2500 in the first year according to KBB.
