Mike perhaps you have me mixed up with someone else. I never do use old oil. 1st thing is old oil looses its viscosity even if it sits. 2nd It tends to burn quicker and leave scaring in the cylinders. 3rd its cheaper just to change the oil rather than change a blown rod.

Please don't get me wrong. I love the truck i have always been a Ford Fan until the rear engine seal went out and it took the dealership 5 times to fix it at a cost of 2k Then it went out again and i decided to get the Tacoma because i seen the reviews on it and my brother had one in the 90s...
