I would expect the battery connection may have arched. I had them on and off multiple times.

Discovered the ETCS fuse, #24, was blown. New fuse, started right up. Thanks for all input.

When I said the obdii reader would not connect I meant that once I plugged it into the port it would not read the data. It will not connect electronically to the car.

The window issue is caused by the battery disconnect and change. I fixed that. The obdii reader I am using will not connect to my 4runner. I don't know why.

I have a 2007 Limited 4runner with the 4.0 V6 that is giving me fits. I recently replaced the 9 year old battery with a new one. Had no issues with the truck after that for a week. Noticed then that the rear wiper was not working. Checked all the fuses. Then found that the rear window was down...
