I became the caretaker of my father's pride and joy when he passed away last May, his perfectly maintained, barely driven, rust-free 1995 Toyota 4x4. He had it sprayed with Rustop every year. He left it to me with 24,746 miles on the odometer. I really like the truck but it brings me no joy. I miss him every time I drive it, but he kept it so nice I feel I have to keep it. If I sold it I would feel like I betrayed him. What a guy he was. Lots of hobbies, always a good story to tell, and always cold beer in the fridge. He was also ridiculously good at catching fish. We all used to say "Dad can catch fish in the toilet!"
