I realize this is an older thread. But I just wanted to share this picture with the group. This is Max our 7 yr. old Maine Coon cat. He has never done this with any other vehicle we've owned. But does this on a regular basis.
I guess he's a Toyota guy as well.

My wife wants one real bad, we already have a Turkish mountain cat that hates all other animals of any type so I told her she has to wait until it runs away or passes away.
Are there any peculiarities with a Maine coon?

They are large cats. Ours is 20 lbs. But they are big loveable babies. Max was raised with other cats and a dog, so he has no issues with other animals.
Because they are very large they tend to intimidate other animals.
And they eat...a lot. Max begs at the dinner table. And they love water. He likes to play with his water bowl.
But they make great pets.
