Just figured I would see how QBE does for the property damage to my house and I'll report back what I come up with.
Two storms, about a year apart, hail and wind. Figured I'd wait until there was more damage and contacted them after the last big wind storm. They initially denied the claim but a couple of contractors came out and they said there was clear damage to the roof from hailstorm and it should be covered but QBE has a history of denying claims for almost no reason, but if you fight back they might cave in and cover the damage.
March 2016 Hailstorm
March 2017 Windstorm Damage
Tree hit the house when it snapped back. Small dent, tore off some shingles.
Screens were replaced a few years ago, they took a pounding.
Roof lost some shingles, others got blown back or torn off when the tree hit the house.
Fence fell against the lawn mower and broke off the gas tank.
