Hi everyone, Just picked up my first yota yesterday. It's a 94 Toyota 2WD Garages kept with 36,000 original miles. Thought I'd say hi, and check around the forum.

.............. I think it sat for a little bit so I'm gonna tune it up and Chang the oil
If it sat for a little while I would change all the fluids (engine oil & filter, transmission oil, rear end oil, etc.). I would even flush out the brake old brake fluid. Change out the fuel filter and add some fuel treatment (Seafoam) to clean out the tank and lines of moisture. Definitely a good find - you found a super dependable truck! I would love to run across one like that!

Thanks guys! And I plan on it. Taking to Toyota for oil Monday, I would do it my self but it's too cold and everything is cover in ice for me to do it. Will change the full filter. Although I didn't think about about rear end oil, it being my first truck.

They look good in white. They're just even harder to keep clean.

Before this I've only owned and tinkered with Hondas. It hasn't even been a week and I think I'm in love. Lol

Honeslty, since I moved to Texas in 1999, I think that on average 2 out of every 3 vehicles I've owned have been white. How about that? I had a cheap commuter Chevy Cavalier, which was a piece of junk but it lasted me 120k miles before the radiator clogged up with slush and the heads warped out on me, that was green. The wife had a little Pontiac Grand Prix in college that was bright red, that was a decent enough car and she owned it when we got married ... otherwise, everything's been white! lol

Also, I just edited your post and added the images to the post area instead of just having them all sit there as attachments with the very small thumbnails. Just makes it easier to show off the images.

Now, that being said (and I'm not trying to take over your thread at all) ... but I'm really looking at maybe buying this Toyota Tacoma pickup. As you can see, it's far from being a white vehicle, lol.

Also, looking at your truck again, that's like a museum piece, 36,000 miles on a 1994? Nice and clean, must have been garage kept.

Haha no worries. Nice truck btw I'd love to have something like that. Only negative is the old man smoked in it. There is a whole in the seat :(. Gonna get it fixed. Although I'd like to buy a 85 4x4 modle and rebuild like the the pickup in back to the future. Marty Mcfly had good taste lol
