Thats interesting. My BIL wants us to winter in Apache Junction as he's a resident there however from his backyard all you can see is the mountains. Never been there but I know if gets stinking hot in summer. 135F Whew!

Yeah, my wife could never tolerate a summer there. When my dad passed away in Phoenix in June 2014 it was getting hot, but we left before July hit.
