95 Toyota T100

I got a 95 Toyota t100 sr5 4x4 xtracab v6 5vzfe and I was wondering if anyone knows if the newer 5vzfe will drop in with no problem. Like a 97 up or so.

5Vzfe engines were the same from 1995 until 2004.

Sweet thanks just wanted to make sure BC I'm thinking abt gettin a new engine prob a newer model 5vzfe that just drops in n is plugs play.

The only problem may be from different model trucks, I.e. a Tacoma has electrical connections or pigtails in slightly different places and they may need modifications.
