The Dallas-Fort Worth area is about $3.50 for unleaded. Our gas tax is pretty low, which is causing us to have pretty bad roads around here. People are driving less overall with even more fuel efficient vehicles - so there is even less total $$ collected than there was 10 years ago as we're having less fuel consumption overall.

Really? Wow it's expensive here then. It was 3.93 when I filled up today, although maybe it's gone up a bit there now as well?

A couple weeks ago it was between 3.15 and 3.19 in south carolina and in Mexico When I had my voyager it was about 700 pesos to fill or $49/20 gal...so about $2.45 gal?

Just drove from Colorado Springs through northwest TX to Dallas. Gas ranged from $3.89 in Walsenburg, CO to $3.59 in Dalhart, TX.
