SO - what's everyone doing for the 4th?
We are having a big pool party here, if we aren't slammed at work. What's everyone else doing?

I've never met a mud pit that I didn't like, or that my Toyota Tacoma couldn't get through!

We ended up with about 50 people at our house and about $600 worth of things to blow up.... in fact, the kids still get to clean up the rest of the area where we lit them because it still looks like a massive event at our house, even after cleaning for a couple of hours outside yesterday. The top of my house is littered with parachutes....... and I am NOT climbing up there. Although, I have to say, it was a blast with everyone bringing different big fireworks, and then tons of kid stuff that the kids all had so much fun with. We still have a huge box full of stuff that we didn't get to light. Everyone swam, ate a ton of fried chicken and snack food, drank some beer - and then were not allowed to drive home... lol - and just had a really good time. Couldn't have asked for better.

i went camping with a group of friends at this great spot in the foothills so we could watch the fireworks all over the denver area. it was cool to sit up there in the cool air around a fire with some good beer and watch several firework shows at once belowus. we've gone there for the past few years.
