761,000 RAV4 compact SUVs from the 2006-2010 model years are now being recalled by the Japanese company Toyota due to sudden acceleration.

Why is that when we make vehicles that they don't have many problems, but certain vehicles from japan get recalls on them for little things or odd things

The final reports that I've read show that 99% of the time the "un-intended accelleration" was DRIVER ERROR. That is, the person stepped on the GAS PEDAL instead of the BRAKE.

hah, I knew it would come down to that. No one wants to take responsibility for their problem.
