Once again, tb comes to the rescue with some good insight. Easy, will you upload some pics for us once you get everything set up? I want to see this ;).
My guess is it will be available soon at least-- there is a large demand for it, so TRD should get them into production soon if they know what's good for them.
Sure, makes sense. I'll look around and see if I can find any examples of this having been done; hopefully someone else on the forum here has some ideas.
I'm sure there would be a market for it. The design reminds me of something I've seen, not sure what... Maybe the Honda Ridgeline? Is that what it's called? Not sure if that's right off the top of my head, but yeah, sort of similar to it.
Interesting... I retrieved that photo from an ad on Toyota's TRD component page, looked like it was available for the 2012, but, guess not. Apologize for being misleading.
The 4x4 is the way to go with this, hands down the best performance if you are going to spend money on a truck. It allows you to go so many more places; can't really think of a good reason to purchase anything that is 2wd.
I'd love to get my hands on a diesel if they were available from Toyota and install a propane system. I've been looking at older Fords (shhhhh) because they make a great diesel truck and I want one for work, could really use the excellent fuel economy that a diesel engine provides even when...
I'm looking for a decent set of sheepskin seat covers for the seats in my 2011 Tacoma Access Cab. Who has them installed in their pickup? What is the best place to order them?
My buddy has a hard shell cover over the bed of his pickup, but I don't like it as it seems as though it prevents him from being able to load the bed over a certain level. It can be removed but I think maybe a rolling cover is better and easier to deal with. Who's got one?
Sometimes a good polish will remove holograms or swirl marks from the finish of a vehicle, but is there a better way to do this? Maybe just a good coat of wax would do the trick. If you have had problems with holograms (swirl marks) and have fixed them let me know what you did, I'm trying to...
I've heard that it is easy to apply, but just wondering if the appearance/protection would be better than that of Turtle Wax, which is what I use currently.
I'm looking for the opinion of others as to whether I should remove the stock Toyota badges from the doors and tailgate of my 2010 Tacoma. I've seen a few of them on the road and I do like the look for some reason, but not sure if maybe there is an issue with the paint looking different under...
I'm looking for a place that I can reference the various paint codes for the Toyota Tacoma by model year. What is the best place to find this information?
I guess this is a relatively common problem in the second generation Tacomas. It can be remedied apparently by adding a small plastic shim to the compartment that houses the seat belt roll.
Wow! A whole lot of info here. Thanks tb for taking the time to post all of this. I guess the general consensus is not to get too excited in regard to any major changes to the engines available for the Tacoma. Was it costly/difficult to add the propane injection?
