The one drag about portable is I have to remove and hide it when I leave my truck. Leaving it stuck to your window is inviting a broken window and losing your gps. I like it being able to switch cars but being built in deters theft a little more, imo.
I left my cap light on too long and blew of all things a break light fuse. It was the panel under and to the left of the steering wheel. Get a fuse puller and check all those fuses. Found mine that way. Good luck.
A security guard at a college stopped me to ask me about mine. He said he's had 2 front windows cracked from rocks and wanted to know if I've had any cracks since I've had mine. I guess they throw up a wall of air to sort of protect your front window from rocks. I thought it would protect the...
Great Item. My smog guy said I should have them welded on with some braces 'cause they're getting stolen L&R. Especially with high profile trucks, it's so easy to get under them and cut 'em out with battery operated tools, which are so easily obtained now a days.
I use Smartwax. It's a great wax, easy to use and looks so good. They have alot of products also. I was a turtlewax user for years and can't believe how much better this stuff is. So much easier, I couldn't believe the difference. Google Smartwax, they should have a website. They're in...
I don't think it would fit either. I believe Toyota changed body styles into 2001 thru 2004 so a 2000 should have a different grill. Maybe a 1995 thru 2000 might fit.
We're having a bonfire on the 12th of June (Sat Nite) at Bolsa Chica State Beach and Warner Ave. if any SoCal ppl are interested you're more than welcome to come on out. Look for the Silver Stepside backed up to the beach. We'll be burning a 2 story Pallet house which makes for a great big fire...
I've sure seen some beat up Tundras. Seems alot of ppl use 'em for work trucks. Not sure about the brakes but I know they'll go to hell and back when they're on duty.
I have a '02 standard cab sr5 prerunner with a cap and get in the 20's in mixed driving with the overdrive on all the time. That 4 cylinder likes to sip gas for sure.
Hi everyone. Nice Site. I'm driving a 02 Tacoma stepside Standard Cab w/a cap. I've been thinking of raising it a little and am cruising the net looking for some info on the best way to do it. I'll post some pics soon. Nice meeting you all.
