I'm thinking of buying a 4runner. Which is the best one???

Toyota compact pickups have been in the U.S. for a while. The latest generation Tacoma is bigger but is it badder than my 1989? Will it last as long without breaking?

Wow -- 5K seems to be a lot for a 14 year old truck with 197,000 miles on it.

I was pumped for the FJ but am not crazy about the clamshell access doors and I've read it has some visability issues. I guess I should test drive one to see for myself. I'm not in the market for another vehicle right now anyway. There are some rumors they may make the FJ with a removable top...

Yeah it kind of like sandwiches -- depending on your location, they can be referred to as heros, wedges, grinders, hoagies etc. I asked for a meatball wedge in Colorado and they looked at me like I was crazy. (Most mushers are a little crazy but they did not understand the term.)

The removable top really appeals to me. I agree - it would be a fun suv. Stilll do not what I am going to do. The owner is in no hurry to part with it -- I think his wife wants him to sell it as it is the third vehicle in their family.
