Hi .. I have 1985 4 runner...that, has been converted to the 85 HILUX 2.4 DIESEL motor...
Any others have one? I'm curious about putting an intercooler in and how u fit it..

Welcome from SW Oklahoma. Got an 84 hilux pickup 2.4 gas. Don't know much about the diesel. Sorry. But I'm sure there's someone on here who can help ya.

When I was stationed in Sicilly my wife and I both had Hilux turbo diesel trucks, unfortunately the U.S. spec diesel is real different than non-U.S. spec trucks.
I know Toyota sold US spec trucks with a turbo diesel in the 80's so the info is out there, just not a lot of guys with the info since those trucks weren't real popular, a little ahead of their time
