Towing capacity 2015 Toyota tundra

Does anyone know what the towing capacity is like for the 2015 tundra?

According to the Toyota website the 4x2 Regular Cab Long Bed with available 5.7L V8 has a maximum towing capacity of 10,500 lbs

Yeah, it's a ton, err over 5 tons.

I would be looking at getting a new Tundra crew cab but it won't fit into my garage.

That would let me get any type of travel trailer I want just about.

Right now I can't fit a Tundra in my garage so I'm going to have to get a Sequoia maybe as a tow rig, I've been looking at trailers as well recently and there are some great ultra-lite trailers to be had that can be towed by that vehicle considering it's between 7,000 and 7,400 lbs.

We did over 2000 miles on that trip.

we've done 2 other trips about as big since, and with a weight distribution hitch. Huge difference. Pretty sure that Toyota even recommends it.

With the hitch, and my King shocks pressurized to 300lbs. nitrogen, the truck doesn't even squat an inch!!!

I guess you drive from hotel to hotel, or are you tent camping.

That trip was a hotel to hotel trip. Since then I've made a custom tent that sets up on the trailer. But we only tent camp know a year. Too much work.
