Brake backing plate replacement

hello,
looking for info on how to replace brake backing plates on 93 truck 4 wheel drive, plates are real rusty, don't think they will pass inspection this year and also where to buy them, looking to sell truck but would like to replace them before I do. unless someone on this forum would like to buy.. lol ,,, replacing truck with 2013 Tacoma.. Any help would be great .. Mechanical skills are good I can fix myself ..

Yes I can post . Live in pa .. 93 xcab 4×4 5 speed 185,000 runs good air still blows cold.

Are the drums stuck on? Rear brakes " these trucks can be a pita for sure. How much have you tried to tear apart and inspect thus far?

If you get the drums apart you should be able to get access to everything easy enough, but with a truck of that age who knows? You'll have to plug the brake lines or be prepared to drain the master cylinder too.
