Wheels off of an 88

Hello,

These wheels came on an 88 4x4 I bought for my son. We were looking to replace them but have since been told that these are pretty desirable for the time period. Does anyone know anything about them? Thanks.

Ive never seen those as a factory offered wheel for any Toyota 4x4's.
1988 had 3 different style wheels for the 4x4 truck.
Stamped steel in grey/silver, black, or chromed.
Stamped steel basic wheel, looks something like a standard wheel with a hub cap only it doesnt have a hub cap.
Argent styled aluminium wheels.
Those wheels look like the old aftermarket turbine wheels.

These are factory rims on my 87. Found them on eBay and had them repainted.

Yeah, I had an old Ford when I was a youth with almost the exact same exact design, my guess is also that they were aftermarket. Are they stamped anywhere?

Thanks- It's original paint. I had bought this truck originally in 1994 from a guy I worked with- he bought it new. I kept it until 1998 and sold it to my Dad. He had it for 15 years until I got it back over a year ago. He had left it outside the whole time. I thought I would have to get it repainted, but I had the wife take it in and get it detailed and buffed. I'm leaving it alone for now. Here's a before and after look:
