Toyota to end production of Venza

TOYOTA VENZA TO BE DISCONTINUED.

Looks like Toyota is going to end the Venza crossover vehicle, a vehicle that shares a common platform with the Toyota Camry. Seeing how as Toyota didn't even sell 30,000 of this vehicle last year in the US, which is built in the Georgetown, Ky plant, it's a good move as it just never took off.

Having driven a Venza on more than one occasion, and not exactly being a svelt guy at 6'4" and 250+ lbs, I was always very comfortable in the Venza and really enjoyed the ride and drive of the vehicle, even if it was slightly underpowered and lacked serious towing capacity.

Did America not give this vehicle a chance?

Part of Toyota's plan to slim down some no doubt.
With only 30k units sold it barely paid for production.

Never even heard of the thing, ugly as sin. Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say.
