I believe the ECT maybe faulty. The engine was badly overheated (fried) when the NO.1 water by-pass pipe failed on the freeway. The original was plastic...The replacement is steel
It appears I have to remove the intake manifold to replace it
I should have insisted this sensor be replaced when the head was repaired
Anybody out there replace this on this vehicle?
