1986 truck auto shift indicator

I have been searching the net for over an hour trying to find some info on repairing the automatic column shift indicator on my 1986 pickup. It's stuck showing park, all thru the shift range. I have the steering wheel off, and can't see much. Where can I find a blow up showing it, or maybe someone has posted how to repair this? All my searches come up empty. Thanks, Sundug

I figured it out and repaired it, the tiny cable was broken.

good job,,,some makes just have a small spring. You just expect something more complicated.
