- Originally a Northern Ca. native 1970/1991, all that changed when I joined the U.S. Navy in 1982. Since than we've managed to travel the world and live in many different countries.
Retired as a U.S. Navy Crew Chief on 737 A/C, after 22 yrs Active Duty and 2 yrs Voluntary Active Reserve Recall. 3 tours of duty in Iraq, 1 tour in Afghansitan, 1 tour in Iraq for the first Gulf war.
Settled down now with my wife of 23yrs and 2 cats watching my daughter raise my granddaughter.
I'm a huge off-road fan and enjoy fabricating my own rock crawlers.
My wife and I have been able to off-road almost every rated trail in the U.S. at least once, some twice, and a few trails lots of times.
My favorite trail of all time will always be the Rubicon, it's the first trail I ever wheeled and where my interest in off-road vehicles got it's start.
I'm a fan of almost any vehicle that runs an internal combustion engine and some that dont.

Not sure how many of you are familiar with Toyota S Runner trucks, only 9600 were built between 2001 and 2004.
In 2001 Toyota unveiled the S-Runner trim package which included the 3.4-liter V6 engine, 16" (410 mm) alloy wheels, 5-speed manual transmission, and Tokico gas shocks. The trucks were based on the 2wd Tacoma xtra cab body. There were only 200 produced each month from 2001 to 2004.
