    Here is a spy shot of the new Tacoma published in MotorTrend magazine.
     Will the next Toyota Tacoma redesign be in 2012? I had heard that this truck has been planned to be redone for this next model year, to be released in late 2011. Has anyone heard anything about the 2012 Toyota Tacoma? There certainly has been a tremendous amount of speculation on the web and we're so late into the calendar year with nothing shown yet so maybe it's going to be 2013?

      Me too. I hate it when there is a bunch of hype about a new car or a "revamping" of a car or truck and then they change like a knob inside or something. That irritates the crap out of me. If anyone finds out about the new 2012 Toyota Tacoma, I'd like to know about it.

      I am reaching out to the Toyota PR and Social Media folks and will get an answer. It does look like this will be a 2013 Toyota Tacoma redesign and not a 2012 model year redesign.

      what's up w/ these forums?!?! i've made several REALLY nice posts lining the new info about 2012 tacoma..coming out THIS Oct...Google Toyota tacoma news. How many days does it take a admin to approve posts?

      I found this rendering of the 2012 toyota tacoma that someone did with photoshop. Anyone know if the new tacoma will really look this much like the 4runner. If so, that would be totally awesome.

      Well, who knows? That's a big mystery to everyone until we get some good PR shots from Toyota on it. I like this look though.

      Rumor has it there is going to be a HYBRID Tacoma available sometime next year. This is pretty exciting stuff. Not sure if this information is accurate yet, but if it is it is big news!

      Really? If you get some information on that, please start a new thread on here and link to that new thread from a post on this thread. (did that make sense?)

      Yeah, makes sense somehow. I need to link the other thread we have in regard to the hybrid Tacoma here as well.

      Toyota Tacoma Hybrid is getting a lot of attention as a topic of discussion there days.

      I think the new design for the Tacoma is about right on time for the model. we need to look forward to some of the new internal gadgets and better aerodynamic styling too.

      Well, the 2012 model came and went without a major redesign, so the 2013 will come as well without a major redesign. We have to put our hopes on the 2014 Tacoma.

      I like the look of the trim on the back door and around the lights. It's very unique. I'd do without the "Motor Trend" printed on it though.
