I'm planning to buy a 2010 Toyota Tundra. It will be my first truck and we all know that it's quite an investment. I'll be using it for a lot of carrying from the city to my ranch and back. Rumors has it though that the tundra's got really flimsy sheet metal and poor body work. I am especially concerned with the tailgate.

With all the talk about the Toyota recall, would you buy another Tacoma? I'm a truck guy, and I find the Tacoma and the Tundra very reliable than any others I've driven. For me the question is really just how much trust you put into Toyota and their trucks. And yeah, I will definitely buy another Toyota Tacoma.
2nd Generation Tacoma: I feel a heavy bump when I hit the breaks. I don't know if it's a problem with the breaks or too much torque. And my stick shift shakes a lot when I drive and when I release the breaks. I've been to the dealer a few times already and they say nothing's wrong with the engine, brakes, or the tranny.
