I found an interesting, although rather long, video from CNN talking about the Toyota Tesla and other electric cars from Toyota!

A hybrid truck would be pretty cool. They'd just have to find a way to make sure that it still has the power of the gasoline truck. Can't have a truck without towing capabilities. Wouldn't be able to get the supplies to and from the farm.

Some otr trucks are going hybrid. Makes sense, not even a new concept. Most freight trains are diesel electric hybrid, have been for years.

My wifes dad has a BMW X5 diesel, when you put your nose by the tailpipe at idle there is literally no smell. Cleaner than my wife's Infiniti G35S.

What gets me is the VW rabbit of the 80's got 50 plus mpg. Why not combine that type engine with electric. What's with prius only getting 40ish?

WOW!!This is really good that TOYOTA are also interested in Hybrid and Electric car.I am dam sure Toyota will manufacture a AWESOME Hybrid and Electric Car.
Hybrids help the environment by using less fuel.
Since an electric car runs off a battery charged from electricity rather than fuel from an internal combustion engine, it produces far less pollution than a conventional car as electric plants can more efficiently produce energy than internal combustion engines.
