Is there a way I can remove water spots from my auto windshield (http://www.partstrain.com/ShopByDepartment/Windshield) or should I have them professionally removed? Thanks in advance.

Duragloss makes a very good water spot remover you can do your self its like 9 dollars a bottle but well worth the money

X2 on the duragloss. If its bad you might have to do it more than once, it goes on just like wax, put it on, let it haze, wipe it off. I usually clean mine with invisible glass after I get done with the duragloss because it can leave some powdery residue like wax if you use a little too much.

Also works good with a buffer

If you are still having trouble, take a look at this article on removing water spots from auto glass. It has techniques as well as the right products to help you make your windshield crystal clear. This does not take out etchings or scratches though.
