ideas on what to do? looking to buy a really clean 06 one here, drove it last night, and the JBL's in the limited didnt sound too good , the factory system in the 05' 4runner im driving sounds much much better... anyone out there have any thoughts there ? ideas to fix it ? add other speakers in place of the ones in there???

good question there, maybe the standard door speakers, 9*13 or so,,, dont know

Did you end up getting the car? Did you get the speakers fixed?

I have seen cars/trucks that the door speakers went bad quickly because of a wire being grounded. Hopefully you either got a different car or got the problem fixed.
