Taccoma rear differential

I'm looking to buy a new a 2009 Access cab 4x4 4.0 or a 2009 Double cab 4x4 4.0 long bed, and when i was comparign the two the the rear differntals were diffrent. On the Access cab you can get Electronic locking rear differential but on the double you cant. So my question is whats the diffrence in the 2, and the performance diffrence.

The locking diff is awesome. I know they aren't available in a V8 toyota because they can't hold up to the torque. I wonder if they aren't available in the bigger taco because of the extra weight of the vehicle. Maybe the locker won't hold up?
