What kind of engine can i put in my toyota pickup, aside from the 22r?

I had an 86 and I had a 22re turbo motor, it did pretty good, not sure what will fit without some modification, but I've seen quite a few with 350 chevy motors stuffed in em!

Thank you for the information, but will a 22RE turbo fit in an 83 pickup with minimum to no modifications?

Not sure about any modifications, I wouldn't think it would be too bad, its the same size motor and the turbo is mounted on the side at the manifold, its probably gunna be hard to find one, I've only heard of one other one with that motor in it, I'm sure there are more just not really popular. Something to keep in mind, my turbo went out right after I bought it and its about $1600 just for the turbo!
