2006 4WD Tacoma 4-Door Bed Length?

I'm getting ready to buy a 2006 with the above specs. I'm dealing with Carmax and can't seem to find a vehicle with the shorter bed (about 60", instead of the long bed of approx. 72").

Are the shorter bed models rare to find? I see a few around, but never seem to find them for sale, in the 4WD 4-Door.

I would think that more and more people want the shorter bed. They're more practical for light-use truck buyers.

You can't find them at all, or just not in your configuration?
