i just found this site this morning while looking for information about a problem with the radio just turning off for no reason. it has a LOT of good recall information about all sorts of different types of cars and trucks - including Toyotas like the Tacoma and all their trucks and car models: http://www.carcomplaints.com/Toyota/Tacoma/2009/recalls/

Seems like Toyota is getting credit for coming forward on this and taking the heat instead of trying to deflect.

I personally appreciate that - I mean, I'd rather someone come out and admit that there was a mistake/problem and fix it than say, "Uh, that other guy did it" or whatever.
