Wow, that sucks. Up here when crossing the mountain passes people hit deer all the time, sadly a lot of the time the car is totaled or has heavy damage. Not too often it's worse where the person is seriously hurt or even killed. That's a plus to have a larger vehicle as it's less likely to have the deer come up and over the hood.

Moose on the other hand are huge with just stick legs ...
