A truck struck two people Tuesday as they sat on a bus bench, killing one man and seriously injuring another, according to Miami-Dade police. First, the burgundy Toyota Tacoma got into a minor collision with another vehicle shortly after 2 p.m at the intersection of Northwest 27th Avenue and 79th Street, near Northside Shopping Center, police spokesman Detective Roy Rutland said.
